(which is ridiculously easy but I couldn't think of a better title)

Muura's art techique meme [link] number two: draw something beautiful.

...OR so it read until today when it was updated to "draw something with a stereotypically feminine theme or style. (Flowers, pastel colours, beautiful subjects?)" but I guess it fits in anyway, lol.


But about "beautiful", I could've drawn someting beautifully or something that is beautiful, and went with the latter. I think cities and buildings are really beautiful.

I didn't want to try scanning the painting in two parts so I took a photo. It looks SO much better in real life, I'm sorry ;; (well, almost everything does, so huh.)

Watercolours and a tiny bit of colour pencils.

LOLOL SORRY I just started thinking how "beautiful" and "ugly" are such vague subjects and I changed it into something more easier to do. BUT THIS'LL DO MORE THAN FINE, you'll get my personal stamp of approval.

Not that this meme should really be taken TOO seriously or anything, either. ;3

BUT YEAH UM HELLO THIS IS FRICKEN GORGEOUS. It's like the start of one of those children's storybooks where you could spend hours looking at the details.. ♥ Also I'd love to live here. And looking at this tiny piece of a town makes me wonder what the rest of the city looks like. Mm. *_*

Ahh thank you! I first thought of drawing some sort of a cool perspective show-off b-but I like children's books art too so...! (Yes, they crossed my mind too while making this)

It's cool how you painted outlines without the paint running … how did you do it? Is it the brush you use? :?

If you mean the outlines of the picture, I restricted it with tape before painting.
